Why I’m Running
I’m running for Salt Lake County Council because I believe our county needs steady, experienced leadership at a time when the challenges we face are growing more complex and more urgent.
Salt Lake County is a $2 billion enterprise responsible for public safety, health services, infrastructure, housing, and regional growth. These are not abstract issues — they affect families, neighborhoods, and small businesses every single day. County government needs leaders who understand how to manage large budgets, make tough decisions, and deliver results with transparency and accountability.
As a Certified Public Accountant, an executive in the private sector, and a former Murray City Councilmember, I’ve spent my career working with budgets, organizations, and public institutions. I understand how government works, how money moves, and how policy decisions turn into real-world outcomes. I bring a practical, results-driven approach to leadership — focused on smart planning, responsible growth, and long-term fiscal stewardship.
I believe in collaborative leadership, transparent government, and making decisions based on data, not politics. Salt Lake County deserves leaders who are ready to govern on day one. I’m running to put my experience to work for the people who call this county home.
